Creating Atmosphere & The Power of “No”

God wants us as a local people to create an atmosphere for Him… Rejoicing.

 

We come to this church to not have comfortable Christianity.  

We want to grow so that we can bring heaven to earth.

 

We are a people that responds well to God even when He says “no”!!! — I say

 

When we say no to a child we are training their conscience to recognize what is good and evil.

 

When the good news came, they had to say no to something to say yes to something else.  

NO brings order.

 

When we say “no” to what we thought was good, and we say yes to the truth God brings/brought to us, then we walk in order.

 

Deny yourself (Say no)

 

Satan says yes to everything!  

“We” like to hear the word “yes”.

 

The word no gives us a sense of slavery.  

The word yes gives us a sense of superiority.

 

Do nothing independently from the Father.  

When He says yes it’s blessed. When He says no it is blessed.

 

– Who is the master of your tongue?

– What do I use my faith for?

 

Scripture & Rejoicing

Matthew 6:24 AMPC  

Your tongue is hooked up on what you serve!!!

 

When we rejoice in God we re-strengthen ourselves.  

– When you refuse to rejoice you refuse the life of God.

 

Genesis 18:19 AMPC  

Abraham had no other master!! God was his master, therefore he is the father of many nations.  

God knew that Abraham would teach how to keep and to do God’s word to his children.

 

Abraham didn’t just privately believe, he actively expressed his faith.

 

For God to establish His covenant with Abraham there had to be continuity!!  

So that we can inherit His blessing.

 

The children of Israel did not master their tongue; they chose to stay with the cursing.

 

Deut 4:1-20 AMPC  

6, “Keep and do them”  

7, — I say  

10, How do we keep the words of God close to you… teach them and talk about it!!!  

19, Beware of the systems!! The culture!! — I say  

20, — To be to Him  

20, The Lord has taken you (me)!!!

 

The good report is: God is able.

 

Gratitude, Praise & Responsibility

The bad report was because they were looking at their ability.

 

Samuel’s sons lacked continuity.

 

(We are creating an atmosphere for God to move)

 

Israel wanted a king because they rejected the authority of God in the form of a human servant. They didn’t recognize the authority of God sent in the form of a messenger.

 

When you are grateful to God for your children you release the blessing of God to them, for you and them.

 

The children of Israel wasn’t grateful.  

– They wanted someone to dominate over them that is not God.

 

They wanted the covering of a king. The might of what the nations would offer them: Something they could “see”!!!

 

What does God want to clothe us in?  

Isaiah 61:3 AMPC  

The garment of praise.

 

How much are we rejecting God by not being grateful?

 

NB: When you are focused on the goodness of God you see good, then it is also easy to praise so that God can clothe you in the garment of praise that is His glory.

 

God has drawn a line.  

I (God) will not tolerate an ungrateful people.  

God will judge that.

 

They kill Jesus for this because they wanted a king not a vessel.

 

NB: Faithful to it, it will produce.

 

God wants to be here!!!  

We are also responsible!!!

 

The Holy Spirit doesn’t move where He is not wanted.

 

Psalm 22:29  

Praising God creates an atmosphere for Him.  

He inhabits the praises of His people.

 

2 Chronicles 20:21-22, 5:13 KJV  

The answer came when they were rejoicing.

 

Rejoicing confronts your hard heart (your trust in yourself).

 

Garment of Praise & Action

Put on the garment of praise so that you can overcome.

 

You can reject this like our forefathers.  

But, our decision on this will affect generations to come!!!

 

God inhabits the praises of His people.  

Your refusal of this is what’s limiting God’s power!!!  

We are all responsible for limiting God.

 

Therefore!!! Take heed and keep and do!!!  

The messages!!!

 

Be grateful for your messenger so that you can become what you should be to each other.
