What is your expectation for Bible School and Discipleship 101? 

My expectation for Bible school and Discipleship 101 is to really grow my faith in the faith principles that I know and principles that I do not yet know. I want to really get familiar with the Word and go to higher levels of understanding of believing the Word of God, because that is really the guide of my life. It’s not there to be a chore; it’s actually something there to help me grow. That is what I’m trusting for—that it will be a blessing to me and help me in my growth journey.

Is there something that you specifically want to know more about?

Honestly, at this particular time I would just love to grow in my revelation and general knowledge, and ability to actually defend my revelation and effectively communicate my revelation to other people. To do that, the Word actually has to be in me.

So, yeah, I’m trusting for the Word to grow in my heart, that that is what will be coming out of me 24/7 and that that is what I will live by. There’s no other voice that I want speaking through me except God’s voice. I want it to be God’s voice and I want His Word to come out of my mouth, that His Word is evident in my life, that it touches other people and ministers to other people.
Because I don’t want to be of this world. We have to be in this world, but I don’t want to be of this world.

What is one new thing that you have learnt this past week in Bible School and Discipleship 101?

Just based on the previous point I made, one thing that really stood out to me was in Discipleship 101. The point that was made was that if you have voices in your life that have more say than God’s Word, His will, and His voice, then that is what you will have in your life. That is what is going to come out of you.

You actually have to grow in that, because obviously when you are born again your spirit is born again, but you have to work on your soul and go through the process of getting your soul there. That is done by speaking the Word and filling your heart with the truth—basically the Word.
So the main thing is constantly thanking God and constantly filling yourself with the Word.

Another point is that the Bible is the truth and you have to speak it. It is the final truth in my life. God wants to confront you with the truth so that we can walk in it. The Bible is the final truth in our life, and it is confronting, because it confronts the darkest parts of your soul and the lies that you believe.

Your faith in God’s Word is superior to everything else in the world—the system, your senses, and all of those natural things in your life. If you fill your life with the truth, fill your mouth with the truth, and fill your heart with the truth, it will come out of your mouth. That is what you will speak about, and that is what will be in your life. It is superior to everything else in this natural world.

God’s Word is actually what changes everything in our lives. Everything that we see was spoken into being, so the eternal principle of life is to speak.
