So the orientation sessions we had with John and Sharon really just ministered to me in more ways than just words. There was a lot of great revelation, and there was impartation, and there was teaching, and there was stuff that I never knew about Ixchange.

Obviously, there were a lot of great things said, and I’m truly grateful for all the words that were spoken to us, for us, over us, but the main thing that really just ministered to me was how intentional God is with us as a group, and just specifically me as a person. And I’m just truly grateful, because the timing of these sessions was very interesting, because we were about to go on the Clarens cycling tour, the Clarens cruise, and then have a camp meeting at Clarens. It was about two weeks before that, but just how the Lord used our pastors and how they were intentional about taking time out of their busy schedules to spend two days with us and just… teach us and encourage us and tell us what our exchange was about.

It was great. One of the main points that stood out to me was that they are there to help us grow. And I’m just so grateful to the Lord that He has placed such amazing people in my life that are there, focused and true, actually just following God and their calling, and in that I am affected. And I’m grateful to God that that is what they are called to.

So, yeah, I’m just grateful… I’m just grateful for them being so intentional, and God being so intentional in my life specifically, that He set out those two days two weeks before a big event, and everything’s happening, and He’s like, No, we have to do this now, we have to do an orientation now. Don’t worry about the rush and all the hassles of life; you need to come sit at my feet now.

Then just another point that ministered to me was about relationship—your relationship with God, because obviously everything is about relationship with God. So why would you want to focus on anything else?

And it was so precious; some of the people there just shared their testimony and just reflected, actually, or just re-expressed or reiterated the story of their relationship (their walk) with God. And it’s a relationship, and it’s a journey, and in that relationship and journey with Him, everything is there. You know, Ps John said it so beautifully. He said, “Everything you need is in relationship with the Father.”

God is so intentional about our future, and I just thank God for being so intentional. I’m really just grateful that He is so intentional about my future.
